Worth hiring twice
I was fortunate to find About Blinds in the phone book. I called a few places and appreciated About Blinds promptness in returning my call. From his professionalism and friendliness, he gives off a good vibe. He was early for the estimate and sat in his car until it was the scheduled time.
The price sounded right and the estimated time to completion was accurate. He was helpful, but not aggressive. Everything turned out great with the installation of the Hunter Douglas pleated shades, which satisfied the perfectionists in the house. There were no mistakes and it was done neatly. While I am not sure exactly how I first reached out to Lane he does excellent work. Initially I had him measure a closet in my home and it let to me hiring him again for blinds. He replaced all the blinds in my home. All the measurements were correct and everything fit perfectly.
He really does a fabulous job and is very precise. He takes his time to ensure everything is perfect. The price was relative to the high end blinds I ordered. I was more concerned with a professional that would do a good job than finding the cheapest price and possibly being unhappy. more...

Needle in a haystack
We had used another website a few times for contractors and this was About Blinds was the only one that panned out. We have actually used him several times at this point. He has done the window treatments in our living room, dining room, and recently did some additional shades. Each job we have bidded out he is the lowest.
He goes the extra mile. I did not like anything he had in the truck so he met me in a store to help me find what I wanted. This was all before I paid him a dime. With all this his pricing was still the most competitive. He is also very reliable. I have recommended him. more...

It was less than that actually and he called me as soon as they came in and worked with me on a time convenient for me for installation. Installation took a little less than two hours which he did himself and was kind enough to remove previous window treatment hardware.
